Grilled Garlic Butter Shrimp

Grilled Garlic Butter Shrimp is a perfect meal for the grill; especially on skewers! This is one of those go-to recipes that are true summertime dishes Serve as a main dish or even as an appetizer for guests to eat with their cocktails on the deck!

No Marinade Grilled Garlic Butter Shrimp

There is no need to marinate these Grilled Garlic Butter Shrimp. Just make sure you have lots of butter to baste the shrimp while they are on the grill. It doesn’t take long to soak a skewer. Fully immerse the wooden skewers while the grill is heating.

Grilled Garlic Butter Shrimp Ingredients

  1. One Pound of Shrimp peeled and deveined
  2. One stick of butter melted, in a small pan
  3. 1 tsp garlic salt
  4. Skewers for the shrimp, soaked
  5. Lemon wedges if desired

Directions for Grilled Garlic Butter Shrimp

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  2. Melt one stick of butter in a small pan
  3. Add 1 tsp garlic salt
  4. Flavor Garlic Butter with lemon if you like
  5. Thread the shrimp on the skewers.
  6. Grill for 2 to 3 minutes on each side.
  7. Baste the shrimp continually with the Garlic Butter mixture
  8. Remove shrimp from the grill and take them off the skewers
  9. Place in a serving bowl with extra lemons or cocktail sauce

Should I Soak the Skewers?

If you are using wooden skewers, you’ll want to soak them so they don’t catch fire from the grill before the shrimp have finished cooking.
