Basic Sheet Pan Salmon Method

Ingredients for Sheet Pan Salmon

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
  • 1-pound vegetables (broccoli, asparagus, Brussels sprouts, carrots, or sweet potatoes)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Lemon slices
  • Optional herbs: dill, parsley, thyme, or rosemary

Sheet Pan Salmon Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Toss vegetables with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread vegetables on a sheet pan. If using potatoes or carrots, roast them for 10–15 minutes before adding the salmon.
  4. Place salmon fillets in the pan.
  5. Season salmon with salt, pepper, and desired herbs.
  6. Top with lemon slices.
  7. Roast for 15-20 minutes, depending on thickness, until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  8. Serve immediately.

  • Soy sauce
  • Ginger

  • Green onions

Best Vegetables to Pair with Salmon

  • Asparagus

Tips for Perfect Sheet Pan Salmon

  • Don’t overcook it. Salmon is best at 125–145°F, depending on your preference.

  • Large Sheet Pan,
  • bowl for tossing veggies

Materials

  • 2 lb Salmon Fillet skin on whole fillet- to fit a sheet pan
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 lb Asparagus
  • 2 Sweet Potatoes peeled and thinly sliced
  • 8 Lemon wedges
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp honey hot honey optional
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • Cilantro chopped for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F
  • Toss vegetables with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  • Place salmon fillet on the sheet pan.
