Candied Orange Chicken Stir Fry, using Candied Orange Peel from Paradise Fruit Company and Hawaiian Chili Honey from Aloha Honey. This is an easy recipe, ready in 15 minutes, with lots of flavors.
Candied Orange Chicken Stir Fry
This Candied Orange Chicken Stir Fry combines delicious spices and a sweet and tangy honey orange sauce. This makes the perfect weeknight meal and has amazing flavor!
I made this with chicken thighs but you can use chicken breasts if you would like. The chicken is very tender and juicy. Sticky, sweet, tasty orange chicken that is so full of citrus flavor.
The most important part of this recipe is probably oranges. Avoid using orange concentrate or any other substitutions. Fresh oranges and fresh juice give this dish a fresh citrus flavor and outstanding aroma. And also the candied orange peel.
- Saute pan and Sauce pan
- 1 tbsp oil
- 2-3 Boneless Chicken thighs cut into 1” pieces
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 bag of Stir fry/udon noodles
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1 tbsp Ginger minced
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 Orange zested
- 1/2 cup Orange Juice
- 1 tsp Sesame Oil
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp Hawaiian Chili Honey
- 1/2 cup Rice Wine Vinegar
- 4 oz Candied Orange Peel
- Chopped green onion for garnish
- Toss chicken thighs in a bowl with salt, pepper and breadcrumbs.
- Stir fry in oil 3 minutes on one side. Flip chicken one time, so the brown on both sides
- In a sauce pan, sauté the ginger and garlic until fragrant.
- Add the rest of the ingredients (except the noodles) and bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
- Once the sauce starts to thicken, remove it from heat.
- Add noodles to pan, with the chicken
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and stir to combine, cook 1-2 minutes
- Serve with chopped green onion garnish

Easy Candied Orange Chicken recipe
Great recipe Charlie. I really like the combination of ingredients. I just bought some blood orange and I think this recipe is perfect for them.
