Chicken Broccoli Cheese Bake Info
With this dish, you get a delightful mix of flavors and textures when you take a bite. The savory chicken, the slightly crisp broccoli, and the rich, creamy cheese come together perfectly. It’s a dish that feels like a warm hug on a plate.




To make a this great dinner, preheat your oven. Cook the chicken and broccoli. Combine them with a creamy sauce made from milk and cheddar cheese in a casserole dish. Top it with breadcrumbs. Bake until bubbly and golden brown.





Chicken Broccoli Cheese Bake Key steps:
- Prepare the chicken: Cut chicken thighs or breasts into bite-sized pieces and cook in oil.
- Cook the broccoli: Cook the broccoli with the chicken on the stovetop. Or you can steam or boil broccoli until tender.
- Make the creamy sauce: Mix milk, grated cheddar cheese, and seasonings like salt and pepper.
- Assemble the casserole: Layer the chicken and broccoli in a baking dish. Next, pour the creamy sauce over the top.
- Add topping: Sprinkle breadcrumbs over the casserole mixture.
- Bake: Bake in a preheated oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly, typically around 30-35 minutes.

- Different cheese: Use a blend of cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese.

Chicken Broccoli Cheese Bake
Materials
- 2 chicken thighs or breasts cut in 1″ chunks
- 4 cups broccoli florets and stems cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 bags Ben’s Whole Grain Brown Rice
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 2 cups cheddar cheese grated and divided
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Heat oil in the pan

- Saute chicken and broccoli in the olive oil

- Cook on medium heat on the stovetop until chicken is cooked through.
- place both rice pouches into the microwave together for 2½ min.

- Add hot rice to a mixing bowl and stir together with black pepper, cheese, garlic, and milk; and stir to combine

- Pour the cheesy rice into a baking dish with the chicken and broccoli and stir to incorporate.

- Sprinkle the breadcrumbs over the top.

- Bake, uncovered, for 20 min until the top is golden brown
