- 4 bone in Chicken Thighs
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Your favorite store-bought Bar-B-Que sauce
Pre heat the oven to 375
Salt and pepper both sides of the thighs
Put BBQ sauce on each thigh and brush sauce on top to cover the skin
Put in the oven (top 1/3 of the oven) and set timer for 35 minutes
While the thighs are cooking in the oven, pre heat your grill
At 30 minutes, use a meat thermometer to check the internal temp of the chicken. If they around 165 degrees, take them out. If not put back in until they reach 165.
Take oven-cooked BBQ Chicken Thighs to grill. Place them skin side up for 1-2 minutes, until they get some grill marks
Turn them over, skin side down, and cook for another minute or so.
Because most BBQ sauces have sugar in them, they will burn and char quickly on the grill.
Check frequently so they don’t get blackened.
