- 1 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil: Preferably fresh Greek olive oil
- 3 Ripe tomatoes Chopped
- 1 Cucumber peeled and sliced
- 1 Red Onion thinly sliced
- 1 cup Kalamata olives - pitted and not from a can
- 1 block Greek Feta Cheese
- 1 tsp Dry Greek Oregano
Use a shallow bowl for this Authentic Greek Salad
In the shallow bowl, break up Dakos into bite sized pieces
Layer the tomatoes, red onion, cucumbers, Greek capers, and kalamata olives on the Dakos
Cut a square slice of Feta Cheese and place on top of the vegetables
Sprinkle with Greek Oregano
