Homemade Tortillas

These Easy Homemade Tortillas are so much better than anything from the store. They are extra soft, doughy, and chewy.

Equipment

  • Cast Iron Pan

Materials

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 3 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine flour and salt.

  • Put on a floured surface; knead 10-12 times, adding a little flour or water if needed to achieve a smooth dough.
  • Let rest for 10 minutes.
  • Divide dough into 8 round portions.

  • On a lightly floured surface, roll each small dough ball into a 7-in. circle.
