Easy Caprese Salad with Grilled Chicken

Easy Caprese Salad is an Italian classic that requires only a handful of fresh ingredients. They include tomatoes, mozzarella, basil leaves, Balsamic glaze, salt, and fresh black pepper.

Materials

  • 25 fresh basil leaves torn
  • 2 lbs cherry or grape tomatoes mixed variety
  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella balls small
  • 3 grilled chicken breasts cut into strips
  • ¾ cup Balsamic vinegar for glaze
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Instructions

How to Make Balsamic Glaze

  • Add the balsamic vinegar to a small saucepan.  Heat to a gentle boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 10 minutes or until reduced by half.  Remove from heat and let cool.

  • Tear basil leaves and lay a foundation as the base of the salad.
